Sharing some of my favorite photos from a Disney World from Jan 2026
Visiting Florida for a Disney theme park has become an annual tradition for me. Usually this was to run a race during the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend, but this time around, this visit was purely for a vacation (however, some running was still involved).
This trip consisted of a visit to Disney World first, going to EPCOT and then Animal Kingdom, followed by a 4 night, 5 day adventure on a Disney Cruise aboard the Wish, but I’ll save the cruise photos in a part 2 post
This post isn’t a trip report but a place for me to share my favorite photos from this trip.
EPCOT
It was a rainy visit so you only get these photos from the rain, which I thought turned out pretty cool with the reflections and emptiness of the park. We had stayed past closing from a dinner reservation, so most of the crowds had already left the park for the night making for some cool photo opportunities
Animal Kingdom
Photos from the “Caring for Giants” Tour
Animal Kingdom offers a backstage tour to get a closer view of the elephants while learning more about them. Here are just a few of my favorite shots from the viewing area of that tour.
Magic Kingdom
